On the edge of “Corona Forestal” to the historical events of the island.
Walking through the green of canaries pines, on a littered path of cones to the harsh black rocks of the latest eruption on Tenerife where you can already see the first signs of life being reborn as a miracle. This Volcano is located within the Special Nature Reserve – El Chinyero and with a beautiful and close view of El Teide and Pico Viejo. From this trail you can see the steep summits of the Teno Massif, whose oldest rocks are around 8 million years old, and the Abeque ridge, a strip of recent volcanoes that begin in the foothills of Teide. Among these zones, geologically opposed, is the Valle de Santiago, where relief is appeased.
Changing views and a significant walk in the largest concentration of volcanoes area.
